They wanted to do a small watercolor painting of a magnolia and had such fun – each painting was truly unique!

Preparing for the meeting, I put together some “Wisdom from the Water Jar” for gardeners, and thought I might share it.  These “wisdoms” are often where life intersects art, or, in this case, where gardeners and artists become one.

Watercolor Wisdom for the Gardener:

It’s good to know where your light is coming from

There is mystery waiting in the shadows

Texture adds dimension

Take time to enjoy the process of growth

The strength and beauty of your garden starts below the surface
